We are looking for a highly motivated team player to take on the role of Operational Quoting Specialist, a critical role with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service by determining customer needs, finding and quoting the best possible solution. 

The Role

No cold calling! You will receive warm leads, inquiries and requests from the branch network, the customer service centre and our online channels. Once qualified, you will manage end to end, this includes;

Qualify inquiry meets the 2 x 2 x 2 guidelines (2 pieces of equipment or more, OR 2 weeks hire or more, OR 2,000 in value or more)
Provide quote, ensure equipment availability, creating, updating and finalising hire quotes and schedules
Follow up on previously submitted Quotes.
Work with logistics and transport providers
Manage and coordinate rehires
Understand market pricing and internal pricing strategies to ensure the ‘right’ price is quoted.
Manage high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

About you

You are highly motivated, a strong team player and have a passion for customer service.

Previous experience in a similar role
Can demonstrate a strong ability in over the phone sales and customer service
Familiarity with equipment and machinery highly desirable
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have an ability to problem solve and have customer negotiation skills
